Micromax A110 Canvas 2 Receiving Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Next Week

Good news for Micromax A110 Canvas 2 owners as the Indian company confirmed the popular smartphone will receive an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.

The bad news it is the update won't be pushed OTA (over the air), so owners of A110 Canvas 2 devices will have to head to the nearest Micromax brick and mortar store.

According to gogi.in, Micromax plans to make the Jelly Bean upgrade available next week, but an exact release has yet to be announced.

Given the ambiguity of the information we recommend Micromax A116 Canvas 2 owners to call the service center before heading to the store.
