My client a global investment bank are looking to hire a Director of Asset Based corporate lending to join the team in Chicago. You will US.

The Role:

• Join a team of four professionals working on the Asset Based Lending team in Chicago covering all clients in the US.
• This is a senior position and would suit a VP and Director level candidate with considerable experience of asset lending/ corporate lending across warehousing/ real estate/ receivables financing/ acquisition finance and commercial loans and lease
• The role is working in a multi product integrated finance team and provide Asset Based Lending alongside Senior and Subordinated Debt
• Successful candidate will work across accounts receivable management, asset-based lending, leveraged finance, leasing and commercial loans
• Position is based in Chicago USA

The Candidate

• You will need experience as an originator of ABL and commercial finance deals and have an entrepreneurial attitude.
• You should be familiar with credit, modelling and the structuring of deals and ideally be working in an ABL function. The team are also interested in people from an advisory background or lenders of senior debt from a bank.
• Skills in negotiating, structuring, analysing and executing new lending opportunities and loan re-structures/work outs and also negotiating loan and security documentation and portfolio management are important
• Senior hire- my client will only hire a professional with track record in Asset lending/ securitisation/ corporate lending in the US market
• Essential to have a suitable US work visa for this role.
